Welcome to Guitar Lessons Northampton. My name is Matt and I am a professional guitar teacher located here in Northampton.
I teach students from beginner levels upwards, providing a mobile guitar tuition service so you can learn in your own home.
I cover a wide range of different musical styles, including Pop, Rock, Metal, Blues, Funk, R&B, Jazz and Country, on both electric and acoustic guitar.
I am always individually tailoring my lessons around my student's musical preferences and learning needs.

I am a specialist in teaching complete beginner students, of ages 8+, the electric and acoustic guitar. I have taught many beginner students during my time as a guitar teacher - as well as those individuals who are revisiting playing the guitar after several years away - helping them learn through the music that they are passionate about.
I am a qualified music teacher, having studied Music at GCSE, BTEC and have achieved a First Class BA (Hons) Popular Music Degree, specialising in Music Education, and would be delighted to help you to learn to play the guitar.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

Lessons are £25 for an hour of one-to-one tuition. I can travel to your home for one-to-one lessons or I also offer Skype/Zoom lessons to students around the world.
I am actually a mobile guitar teacher, meaning I can travel to you to provide guitar lessons in the comfort of your own home. I have found that students learn best in a comfortable and relaxing environment with no need to travel.
I teach students of all ages and abilities from 8+.
That is no problem at all, just contact me as soon as you can to let me know, this enables me to offer that time slot to another student. Do note that Guitar Lessons Northampton operates a 48-hour cancellation policy, whereby, if a lesson is cancelled within 48 hours of the start date it will be charged at £10 no exceptions.
